I finally, after like, three days got photoshop cs4 to work properly. However it is at the cost of my touch strip.


Okay, so the touch strip is still working, but quite annoyingly has reversed. What I used to use as zoom in, is now zoom out. Not the end of the world (not by a long shot ) but it still irks me. When you've been doing something the same way for years it's very hard to get used to it when it's changed: This is putting a damper on my little 'omg yay! New photoshop' party.

I think I'm actually do the tedious task of uninstalling everything and just going through all the different drivers until I find on that works, but leaves my strip alone. Definitely not right now though.

Zippy, my lovely new, black and shiny computer is so good! Unlike my previous computer (Frankenstein's Monster) Zippy does not randomly shut down whenever it feels like it, doesn't make the screen turn off for no reason and does not shut the sound off on a whim. Not to mention that the new computer is so much faster and quieter! It makes me happy. And I have photoshop again (I didn't have it when the computer was running on Ubuntu). I feel kinda pathetic for missing it, but I did.

Been meaning to do a journal like this for some time now.
